My Encounter with the Mayan Calendar
For many years I have had an
affection with the continent of south America and it caught my attention again and
again.
In the year 2000 a journey took me
into this area and the impressions of it brought something to life in my Heart.
In the same year, the book "Maya Orakel" came into my life; these symbols touched something deep inside
me, but I had no words for it and the texts seemed to me quite complicated.
Since that time the book always
remained near me.
In summer 2001 a friend of mine
brought my attention to these symbols again. Michael showed me how to handle
the calendar intuitively and thereby helped me to point out the time qualities
of special events in my life.
Gates opened for new levels of
experiencing!
And I was so affected by the
accurate agreement of the events with the indications of the time that I
decided from this day on to dive more deeply into this knowledge.
There are many writings and
carefully prepared concepts about it, but I knew my approach was via my
intuition.
Pictures developed inside me and the
knowledge became alive.
Then I heard of a man who had
converted the 20 Glyphs in music. Mladen Suncircle.
The delivery of the CD’s promptly
took place two weeks later in my own hometown where his wife Cornelia opened the private view of her Maya silk pictures!

So inspired by the music, the
pictures and the feelings, I decided to give expression to my own visions. And
in close cooperation with Michael, in the year 2002 the 20 Glyphs and the 13
tones in oil and in the year 2003 the 260 Kins in combined color technique came
into being.

I would like to give only a short
and simple explanation about the calendar here:
The Mayas - the past people in south
and central America -
also referred to as Masters of the Time -
had the most
exact time calculation.
They knew the main time qualities. -
rhythms, which always return.
And they lived at their time already
consciously by these rhythms and knew
how to use the time sections by their
energies.
These energies combined express
themselves as follows:
Here are the 20 revealed faces (also
called primitive types, Glyphs, seals, keys...),
which always light up in the
same succession. Imix to Ahau *
And here are the 13 tones, which
follow one another, from tone 1 to tone 13
- until they also start again from
the beginning. 13 tones = a wave
These two rhythms now run side by
side for a long time,
until at the end each face lit up in each tone.
These are the 260 units = a Tzolkin.
A unit = a Kin
And these basic cycles can now be
applied on days, on minutes, on years or on thousands of years...
Once, like
today and in the coming...
I expressed the symbolism of these
through our time radiating forces here in figurative form

counterpart somewhere, so that
it can come into appearance

Tone 5 - Radiant consciousness,

Tone 6 - Rhythm
Tone 7 - Resonance, the center
Tone 8 - the galactic tone,
encompassing the universe
Tone 9 - the igniting impulse
Tone 10 -
the Higher consciousness
manifests
Tone 11 - the dissolution, back into
the original elements
Tone 12 - the crystal tone of
completeness
Tone 13 - the cosmic tone, stepping
out into a new level
Here are the 20 Glyphs cut in
Ytong-Stone
(beginning with the fire clan, Ahau, from the top right to the
left)
and then at their places in the
stone circle energy vortex in my garden.
Carved into the stone floor, there
are also the 13 tones, displayed as 4 spirals, and 4 square shaped spirals
as
holders of power looking into the 4 quarters of the sky.
This energy place is used for
Meditations, Shamanic activities, initiations, for creative works ...
or simply
as place for coming together, hanging out,
with a fire place in the center of
the circle - the "Hunab Ku", the heart of the creation.
